Collection of Silver Plated Tableware and Crystal Bowl
Item Details
A collection of silver plated tableware. The collection includes tongs marked ‘1847 Rogers Bros.’, and five grapefruit spoons with serrated tips, marked ‘WM Rogers Mfg. Co.’ and ‘Original Rogers’. There is a round, footed compote with an ornate column embellished with a Cupid, which is marked ‘Triple Plated’. A round, footed bowl has an ornate rim, with pierced handles, and is marked ‘Rockford Silver P. Co. – Quadruple – 255’. A round, silver plated stand with a round handle has pierced designs at the top, and rests on a footed base with vine patterns around the sides and pierced floral designs to the legs. It is hallmarked ‘Meriden B. Company – Quadruple Plate’ with the number 1623 stamped below. An unmarked vintage crystal bowl is included, featuring a scalloped rim with a sawtooth edge.
