A French language first edition, first impression hardcover copy of Jules Verne’s L’Epave du Cynthia or The Wreck of the Cynthia. It is an adventure/mystery story surrounding the titular shipwreck. It is illustrated with steel engravings and has gilded page edges and an embossed, pebbled cloth hardcover in red with a paneled spine. Published 1885 by the Bibliotheque d’Education et de Recreation.
