George Grainger and Company Chinoiserie Plates

A set of antique English Chinoiserie porcelain plates. This set includes four matching plates, which feature red and white landscape and pagoda depictions to the center. There are floral and bamboo designs around the edges. The underside of each has the hand-painted mark of the George Grainger and Company maker’s mark representing the letters ‘G & Co.’ within a shield and were produced between 1870-1889.

Condition

- wear to design; could benefit from cleaning.
