AFL-CIO Union Sign and On-Strike Sandwich Boards

A collection of fifteen vintage sandwich board signs from the AFL-CIO Laundry & Dry Cleaning International Union Local No. 248. Signs are white paperboard with black lettering that reads, ‘Van Dyne-Crotte Inc. Unfair On Strike’. Also includes a small blue and red ‘Union Shop Org. 1958’ sign and three banners from W.F. Means & Co and Mechanics Uniform Rental Service.

Condition

- some discoloration around edges; shop sign has crack in center.
