An antique hardcover volume of the Works of William Shakespeare. It has a preface by William George Clark and William Aldis Wright of Trinity College, Cambridge, dated 1864, but there is no title page so the actual publisher and date of publication are not given. The volume is bound in a marbled, half-leather veneered hardcover.

Condition

- paper yellowing consistent with age, and minor stains to some pages. Pencil annotations and underlining from previous owners.
