A vintage bookcase end table with books. Decorated with an inlaid starburst design, this bookcase end table has four impressed panels between open cupboards and comes with six-volume set of Émile Erckmann-Alexandre Chatrian Novels, translated from the French and published by Charles Scribner and Sons in 1903 on wove, to include “Madame Thérèse,” “The Invasion of France,” “The Blockade of Phalsburg,” “The Plébiscite,” ‘The Conscript’ and “Waterloo”. Hardcovers bound in full blue cloth with gilt titled spine, tissue-covered engraving on frontispiece and black-and-white illustrations throughout. In addition a trio of exploration and historical tomes by Captain Charles King, published by The Hobart Company, New York City, 1901 editions of ‘Warrior Gap,’ ‘Fort Frayne,’ and Found in the Phillipines,’ are included as well as seven Reader’s Digest compilations and more.
