Red Skelton Limited Edition Giclée "Conducting Beethoven's Fifth"

A limited edition giclée on canvas by entertainer and artist Red Skelton (1913-1997). Titled Conducting Beethoven’s Fifth this depicts a clown, with a broken and visibly taped conducting wand , a champagne bottle with Beethoven as the label on the bottle, and mugging for the viewer, against a vibrant blue background. It is signed and dated ’ Red Skelton 1991’ in the plate on the left side, and signed again next to this by hand and to the back is an authorized reproduction stamp, and numbered “1450” out of an edition of 5,000. This work is presented in a gold-tone wooden frame, with a linen lined inner border, that is wired for hanging.
