Item Details
A handmade needlepoint floral area rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of black, cream, sage, burgundy, and ivory. It features a latticed pattern of floral wreaths over a black field. Framing the lattice are garland segments of flowers, acanthus leaves, and other foliage. The rug has finished edges, with protective fabric strips along the underside. Unlabeled.
Condition
- there are some stains on the fringe; threads on the underside are characteristic of the needlepoint process.
