A June 1950 print advertisement for Lux Flakes laundry soap, featuring Hollywood star Anne Baxter. This full-page magazine ad features the tagline ‘’All my summer things get Lux Flakes care’ . . .says Anne Baxter’ over an image of Baxter in a white patio chair holding a basket of flowers and wearing ‘. . . an orange peasant skirt with a lime blouse . . . a tangerine cardigan. Wonderful colors for wonderful Lux!’ The ad also includes an image of a blue Lux Flakes box and mentions the Fox film A Ticket to Tomahawk. The bottom of the page is marked ‘June, 1950’ and ‘71’; the page is presented matted under glass in a gold tone wood frame with a wire hanger.
