A signed limited edition giclée on canvas titled Escapade II by British artist Gary Benfield (b. 1965), created in 2009. With some painted embellishments, this work features a couple women in fluttering dresses surrounded by running horses. It is portrayed in Benfield’s signature style consisting of windswept figures, loose painterly brushstrokes, and hazy forms emerging from an ambiguous background. The giclée is signed by hand in gold ink to the lower right and numbered 122 out of an edition of 150 to the lower left. It is also titled to the lower center and a descriptive label is present to the verso. The canvas is stretched and remains unframed.
