An original acrylic painting on canvas by well-listed American artist Lee (Reynolds) Burr (California, 1936 -). The painting depicts a row of whimsically stylized, bright yellow tulips and their greenery resting against a solid white field. Artist signature is signed to the upper left and is presented in a carved faux wood frame with a bamboo semblance and white finish, equipped to hang. Additional information about the artist is attached to the verso.
Lee Burr was quoted as saying, “Lee Reynolds was simply a trade name. It was attached to numerous artworks and designs at Vanguard Studios. Vanguard Studios was the largest distributor of decorative art in the world at the time. I guided product development. I was personally responsible for many designs, prototypes, and compositions; however, no “LEE REYNOLDS” signed paintings were actually done by my hand.’
