A framed vintage chromolithograph print advertisement for Bridgeport’s Big Poultry Show. This full color print depicts two large hens in the foreground of a green pastoral setting with black text along the top and bottom. The work is attributed in-plate to the American Show Print Company of Milwaukee, WI. It has been adhered to a brown mat board backing, and is presented mounted to a black background, under glass, in a blonde wood frame. A metal hanging wire is included mounted to the verso.
Condition
-lower right corner has been torn off; holes, tears, creases and stains across lower edge; damage to right edge of posster; creasing horizontally across center; toning to print; pin holes to corners; wear to frame finish.
