The print is made after a chromolithograph that was created for the book Musical Instruments, Historic, Rare and Unique. The piece depicts illustrations of The Alard Stradivarius and The King Joseph Guarnerius del Gesù. It is matted in cream and presented under glass in a brown and black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
