A mixed media artwork with collage of the moon against the night sky, by artist Byron Sokolik (ca. 1941-2015). The work mounts a cut out halftone print of a shadowy moon against a mottled bluish gray ground, the space around it scattered with glitter and star-shaped sequins. It is signed and dated ‘’99’ in silver tone ink to the lower right margin, and matted under glass against a black ground in a brownish black frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

Condition

- some loose glitter under glass to mat; light wear to frame.
