Signed Limited Edition 1988 Serigraph "One on Top of the Other"

A signed limited edition 1988 color serigraph on paper, signed illegibly by an artist to the lower right and titled One on Top of the Other. The print depicts a mugshot of a Al Capone the infamous Chicago crime lord, overlaid with a blue and pink portrait of his hatted scowling face. The ghostly overlay of Capone’s scowling face represents an intuited anger he must have felt after being incarcerated for tax evasion. The print is signed, dated, titled, and numbered 4/5 in graphite to the lower margin. It is mounted to white backing and matted in white and is presented behind acrylic glass in a thin blonde wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- piece is printed slightly crookedly. Light foxing and creasing/warping to paper.
