Vintage Peters and Reed Standard Ware Vase and Early Cachepot
Item Details
A selection of two semi-antque pottery pieces. Included is a Peters and Reed Standard Ware brown glossy vase with short neck and handles, rounded shoulders to the tapered body, featuring a raised, colorful laurel leaf wreath. Peters and Reed made their ware from locally mined red clay out of Zanesville, Ohio, operating between 1912 and 1920. Also included is a small brown and green semi-matte cachepot, likely early McCoy, with a raised relief design to the exterior. Both of the pieces are unmarked.
