A signed limited edition giclée on canvas titled Heavenly Dance by British artist Gary Benfield (b. 1965). This work features a woman in a fluttering dress rendered in two transient poses. It is portrayed in Benfield’s signature style consisting of windswept figures, loose painterly brushstrokes, and hazy forms emerging from an ambiguous background. The giclée is signed by hand in gold ink to the lower right and numbered out of an edition of 150 to the lower left. It is also titled to the lower center and a descriptive label is present to the verso. The work is presented in an ornate gilt and gesso frame with an abtract foliate relief design.
Condition
- some wear to frame includes scratches, small chips, stains, and gilt loss scattered throughout; edition number is partially concealed by frame.
