Salvador Dali Signed Limited Edition Engraving with Hand Coloring on Paper "Femme a la Chaussure"

A signed limited edition etching with hand coloring on paper titled Femme a la Chaussure by renowned Spanish artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989), created in 1969. From the artist’s series Venus in Furs, this work features an upside down female figure wearing a feathery skirt, dancing with a faceless man. A red shoe is perched on the man’s head. The work is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right; it is numbered 12 out of an edition of 145 in graphite to the lower left. A blind stamp of the artist’s signature is also present to the lower right corner of the paper. The work is mounted on a black surface and presented under glass with black canvas matting and a silver-tone sight edge; it is housed in an elaborate dark gray and tan wood frame with a foliate relief design. A descriptive label is present to the verso.
