Guillaume Azoulay Signed Limited Edition Etching on Paper "La Course"

A signed limited edition etching on paper titled La Course by listed artist Guillaume Azoulay (b. 1949), dated circa 2009. Portrayed with curvalinear delineations, this work features two running horses against an intricately patternedd background. The work is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right; it is titled, dated, and numbered 70 out of an edition of 100 to the lower left. The composition is presented under acrylic glass in a gold-tone and brown frame with ridged and diamond relief patterns, a canvas liner, and a gold-tone sight edge.

Guillaume Zoulay was born in Casablanca, and emigrated to Paris with his parents at age ten. He has traveled extensively but settled in Israel in 1967 then in California in 1976. He is known for his focus on fluid line to portray movement and depth. His work has been collected by the Musee du Louvre, and by renowned politicians including Ronald Reagan, François Mitterand, and Anwar Sadat.
