A lithograph on paper after original work from the 20 Fables by J. de La Fountaine titled Le lion loup et le renard I (The lion, the wolf and the fox) by listed French artist Paul Colin (1892-1985), originally published in 1964. The work depicts the abstracted silhouettes of a lion, a wolf and fox situated within a brown field. Unsigned by the artist. There is a label affixed to the verso. Presented beneath a white linen mat with a gilt fillet, beneath glass, housed in an ornate gilt frame with a black back edge.

- minor wear to frame.
