Hand-Painted Italian Deruta and Portuguese Tableware
Item Details
A collection of yellow and white ceramic dishes and a pitcher, and a lidded jar and plate. This lot offers six decorative plates with yellow rims and hand-painted fleur-de-lis or stylized dragons; the former marked ‘Deruta Style’, and the latter marked with a date and holes pierced along the underside. Also included is a small pitcher or creamer marked ‘Malvarina’ with the same stylized dragon design, marked ‘F-C Deruta’; and a rectangular plate with cut corners and a lidded jar, both with hand-painted flower and animal designs, marked to the underside ‘Filcer Hand Painted Made in Portugal’.
Condition
- some light wear to undersides; chip on the edge of the rectangular plate.
