A serigraph poster on paper titled Symphony in Black by Russian artist and designer Romain “Erté” De Tirtoff (1892-1990). This piece depicts a woman in a headdress, fur wrap, and trailing black gown, with a black greyhound-like dog standing statuesquely by her side. Beneath the image is a block of text headed “Erté”, reading “Published by Miage Editions Santa Monica, California in Association with Grosvenor Gallery, London, Eng. © 1980 Mirage Editions.” The print is signed in plate to the center right and is presented under glass in a silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
