Reproduction Michel Claude Clodion Bronze Sculpture

A reproduction bronze sculpture of an original piece by French artist Michel Claude Clodion (1738 – 1814). This piece depicts a nude woman in mid leap while cherubs grab at her legs. A facsimile signature is present to the oval base of the sculpture. Clodion is best known for his sculptures of mythological characters.

Condition

- knuckle shows some wear; signs that one arm and the head of one cherub has previously broken off and has been reattached.
