A hand painted majolica lidded jar by Ernan Albisolo from Portugal. The polychrome tin-glazed apothecary style jar features a woman playing a lute on one side and a castle on the other. The lid and base are decorated with a foliate border. It is signed "Ernan Albisolo" to the underside.
