An original oil landscape on canvas signed by M. Pettis. This original oil depicts a landscape of a meandering river with the trees in the background shrouded by haze while the foreground tree is full leafed standing among a small outcropping of rocks. Presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame, this oil is matted in white. The artist’s signature and year ‘M. Pettis ’77’ are painted in red to the lower right corner. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
