A hand-knotted Chinese wool area rug with a Persian-influenced pattern. This large rug features floral herati and vining in shades of pink, white, green, and blue on a rich burgundy field. The large palmettes and serrated leaf patterns continue in the herati primary border, in the field colors on a mottled ivory ground. It has overcast edges and cotton warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
