A Balinese wooden sculpture of Rama and Sita. Rama and Sita are Hindu characters and lovers from an ancient Indian epic poem titled ‘Ramayana’. This piece is hand carved and has no visible markings or signature.

Condition

- minor markings throughout.
- a piece of the sculpture on the reverse side is damaged and taped together (see 9th photograph).
