A watercolor painting on paper titled Steamboat by listed artist Barbara Hess Pugsley (United States, 20th-century). The work depicts a pair of women and children on the shore as a steamboat passes by on the river. Signed by the artist to the lower right corner. Housed in a decorative wood frame under acrylic glass and a single layer of white mat with French lines. To the verso are descriptive and biographical labels.

- minor wear to the frame’s finish; glass broken in lower left corner, under the rabbet.
