Gorham Cedar Lined Sterling Silver Box

Item Details

A cedar lined sterling silver box by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. In shape number 352, the low rectangular box features a beveled domed top. Is has been personalized with an engraving of an open gate and ‘Jack V Charlie’s ’21’’ on the top and ‘Kathy and John Goldsmith June 11, 1966’ on one side. The interior is partially gold washed and the rest lined in wood. It is marked underneath ‘Gorham sterling’, and ‘352’ with the three pseudo hallmarks of a lion passant, anchor, and a Gothic ‘G’.

Condition

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing; personalized engravings.
