A 1969 bronze sculpture titled Frantic Moment by Sid Burns (1916 – 1979). Burns, who was born in Oklahoma, resided in Arizona for much of his life and was a self-taught artist who began sculpting at the age of 50. The work depicts a dramatic conflict between a fallen cowboy and horseback American Indian. The piece is signed Sid Burns, dated 1969, titled and numbered 14/15 to its base. The piece is presented on a wooden base.
