Collection of Framed Butterfly Specimens

Item Details

A collection of framed butterfly specimens. This collection includes eight butterflies that have been preserved in a shadow box. Each is brightly colored and most are well preserved. The largest specimen is a Southeast Asian ‘Atlas Moth.’ The box is framed in faux leather and has a hanging fixture to the verso. The back of the box is marked ‘South American Butterflies.’

Condition

-some of the butterflies are very brittle and are beginning to deteriorate.
