An embellished offset lithograph on canvas after artist John Constable (1776 – 1837), titled The Hay Wain. This print depicts the River Stour, featuring a horse drawn carriage trotting through a calm body of water with a brick shack and pastoral landscape to the distance. The surface is treated with a clear varnish to give a painterly look. It is presented in a natural wood and gold tone wooden frame featuring gouged eye patterning to the surface and a linen liner. Affixed to the top leg is a lamp, which is untested and is strung with a power chord. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.
