A lithograph print on paper after an illustration titled Modes for 1809 by Horace de Viel-Castel (1802 –1864). The print depicts a well dressed male figure and female figure with a selection of three hats between them. The print is marked on the bottom ‘H. de Viel Castel’ on the lower left corner, ‘Modes (1809)’ on the lower center, and ‘Lith Villain .r. Sevres. 19.’ on the lower right. The print is also marked ‘No. 83’ on the upper right corner. The piece is matted, under glass, and set in a gray wooden frame.
