A semi-antique hand-knotted Chinese vase carpet. This wool rug features a vase and flowers centered in a midnight blue field with floral corner spandrels in a palette of taupe, burnt sienna, butter yellow, and teal. It offers vases, lanterns, and lotus flowers alternating through the primary border. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and a natural wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
