A Thomasville ‘Fisher Park’ oak secretary desk. This piece features an arched top with a molded cornice and a glazed glass door with a brass tone faux key pull. The door opens to reveal a lighted cabinet with three adjustable glass shelves. The lower case features a slant-front fold-out writing surface which conceals a series of cubbies and two small drawers. Five stacked drawers are set below and are equipped with brass top openwork willow mounts with bail handles; one drawer is marked ‘Thomasville’ to the interior. The top drawer is accented with a carved rosette to the center and the piece is supported by ogee bracket feet.
