Ceramic Majolica-Style Urn

Item Details

A ceramic Majolica-style urn. This urn is finished in a bright polychrome glaze in shades of periwinkle blue, celadon green, cream, and eggplant. It features a central medallion with a fruit motif. There are handles with cornflower decorations to either side. It is marked ‘2862’ to the verso.

Condition

- dust and debris; light marks to finish, 1/8" chip along upper rim; wear consistent with age and prior use.
