A hand-colored etching on laid paper titled Vuë de Porta… by Louis-Martin Berthault (France, 1770 – 1823) after an original drawing by architect Louis Jean Desprez (France, 1743 – 1803). The work depicts a view of the Porta Nuova in the Cassaro Quarter of Palermo, Sicily. Festivities are celebrating the winner of a horse race on the feast day of Saint Rosalie, the patroness of Palermo. Marked with the title, name of the artist and engraver to the lower margin in plate. Housed in a green mat with a French line.

- minor buckling to the paper; minor fingerprint marks to the mat.
