A rare Chinese 18th Century cloisonné and bronze vase with Chinese inscription from Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BC), which reads as “子子孫孫永寶用” (zizisunsun yong bao yong), to the underside which translates to ’one’s posterity is always a precious jewel to have’. The globular bronze vase is accented by four bands of colorful cloisonné detailing.

Condition

- worn finish, oxidation; wear consistent with age and use.
