Antique Framed Spanish Sampler

Item Details

An antique framed Spanish sampler. This framed stitched art work is circa 1820 and was featured on Antiques Roadshow in July of 2011. The stitching depicts rows of various designs and figures. This piece is presented in a wooden frame. It is unmarked and has hanging hardware to the verso.

Condition

-there is significant tape to the verso.
-the wooden frame has minor scuffs.
-the fabric is very worn and degrading due to age.
