A collection of two Wisteria framed botanical drawings, after Karl Blossfeldt (German 1865-1932). These reproduction drawings are after Karl Blossfeldt’s original black and white photogravures, published in 1928. Blossfeldt is a sculptor instructor and self taught German photographer. His photography focused entirely on flowers, buds and capsules with an interest in forms and patterns found in nature. the single bud is Trollius ledebourii, and the double bud is Sanguisorba canadensis. The art is mounted under glass with a white mat, in a black frame with angled mirrored frame surround. Each frame includes brackets on each side to slide a nail head.
