A signed limited edition 2017 serigraph on cream speckled paper by well-listed and world-renowned American street artist Shepard Fairey (born 1970), titled Church of Consumption. The print depicts a large church with a dollar sign floating above it; the phrase ‘Obey – Consume – Repeat’ is printed in large text to the lower margin, along with other slogans and commentary. The print is signed, dated, and numbered 236/450 in pencil to the lower corners, though all of these are partially covered by the piece’s framing. Presented behind glass in a contemporary black composite frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
