An oil painting of canvas by Haitian artist Genenrich. The monochromatic work depicts inhabitants of a waterside town with white stuccoed homes with natural fiber roofs, and sailboats in the distance. The paint has a texture, as if blended with sand. It is signed in the bottom right corner ‘Genenrich Haiti’ and presented mounted to a wooden stretcher. Hand written on verso is ‘Jacquelan Milol Jean.’

Condition

- some stray paint along the exposed edges.
