A offset lithograph on paper of an original painting titled The Tall Ship – Clipper Kaisow by British artist Montague Dawson (1890 – 1973). This print depicts a large ship adorned with white sails traveling through the rough ocean. The print is signed in plate to the lower left, titled to the lower middle and is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right. With publication information reading ‘Published in 1969 By Frost & Reed Limited of Bristol and London, England. Copyright in all countries, including the U.S.A. Foreign’ present to the upper middle, the print is mounted under glass in a stained wood and blue frame. A wire for hanging purposes is present to verso.
Condition
- light wear to all edges of frame; backing paper has punctures throughout; toning on image.
