Vintage Federal Style Walnut Writing Desk

Item Details

A vintage Federal style writing desk. The desk is constructed of wood and walnut veneer with burl details. The desk offers a single upper center drawer flanked by two drawers to each side. Each has ornate knobs and pulls with paneled drawer fronts and dovetail joinery. The desk has ornate applied trim throughout and rises on reeded tapered legs that terminate into small metal casters. The desk retains a partial maker’s label to the back of the piece. Matches chest of drawers listed separately as item 17CIN384-040.
