Vintage Federal Style Walnut Chest on Chest

Item Details

A vintage Federal style chest on chest. The chest of drawers is constructed of wood and walnut veneer with burl details and rounded corners. The chest offers three upper drawers over two deep lower drawers. Each has ornate knobs and pulls with paneled drawer fronts and dovetail joinery. The chest has ornate applied trim throughout and rises on reeded tapered legs that terminate into small metal casters. The desk retains a partial maker’s label to the back of the piece. Matches writing desk listed separately as item 17CIN384-045.
