The collection includes twelve volumes of The Stories and Tales by Bret Harte, university edition, published by Sully and Kleinteich in the early 1900s. Also included are ten volumes of writings by William Makepeace Thackeray including The Virginians: A Tale of the Last Century, Ballads and Critical Reviews, The History of Henry Esmond, Esq. and more. The works by William Makepeace Thackeray were published by Harper & Brothers Publishers in 1903.
