An oil painting on canvas of a river landscape by French artist Philippe Bunel (b. 1936). Portrayed with dark outlines and diluted pigments, this work features a river, likely the Seine, with an arched bridge and the city skyline faintly visible in the background. A few small anchored boats are present on the water in the foreground. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented in a lemon gilt frame with scrolling motifs in the corners and a linen liner. The artist’s signature is also present to the verso along with a stamp, a descriptive label, and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company.
