A collection of books on Canadian artists. This group includes a total of nine books. Featured is a third edition reprint, six-volume softbound set of A Dictionary of Canadian Artists by Colin S. MacDonald published in 1977 by Canadian Paperbacks. Also included are a softbound copy of The McMichael Canadian Collection by D.G. Carmichael self-published in 1979, a hardbound copy of Canadian Painters: From Paul Kane to the Group of Seven by Donald W. Buchanan published in 1945 by Phaidon Press, and a softbound copy of Fina Canadian Art auction catalog.
Condition
- “Canadian Painters” has loose spine, edgewear, discoloration, pages yellowing, color fading, tape to spine; “The McMichael Canadian Collection” has creases to the front cover with edgewear and page yellowing; “Dictionary of Canadian Artists” set has edgewear throughout with some page discoloration and scuffs to the exterior; “Fine Canadian Art” has pencil and pen markings throughout interior.
