A Louis XV style fauteuil. This chair features a carved crest rail with urn and floral motif to the center over a tufted upholstered back with nailhead trim. The flared armrests connect to the upholstered seat with nailhead trim over a serpentine apron with carving to the center. The chair rises on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf detail to the knees and terminate in scroll feet. The frame of the chair has a gold toned finish. This item matches item: 17LAX194-035.
