A lithograph on paper of an etching by Parisian artist Amand Durand (French, 1831-1905) of a original self portrait by Rembrandt Harmenszoon Van Rijn (1606-1669). This print depicts the artist holding a quill and a piece of paper while looking at the viewer. Mounted under a single layer of black matting with a gold tone liner, the print is presented under glass in a black and gold tone wood frame. Durand spend his career recreating Rembrandt’s etchings.
